Hey let's change the name of Free Markets to what it really is my proposal is Communist Markets. If it was free then there would be less interference from the SSesque "mods"

But if we're going to indulge your analogy, the name still fits. No one tells you what to run so it's not communism. You can sell whatever you want to whoever you want for whatever you want, but if you break the rules or do something shady, a governing body steps in. (Read SEC, FCC, etc) That's pretty much how it works in real life. :P

If it was 'free' then there would be no rules, no game set length, team cap etc. Even in the real world there are laws that business have to abide by - a lot more than are in here.

The mods only 'interfere' if you are doing the wrong thing - think about that.

If you want a 'free' Free Markets

Allow teams to have as many people on them as they like - instead of having 2 or 3 'defacto' feeder teams.

Rank the teams by 'average worth' i.e. total worth / # players (averaged over the length of the game).

That would give a true indication of a teams score, rather than a falsely fed one.

Cheaters and feeders feel free to object below.

If anything, that would make things worse. You'll have feeder teams of 20 players. Cigger teams of 20 players. And the sharks with 5 players, each scoring 236 billion.

The way to do it is to have dynamic team relationships that change based on the amount of money and goods exchanged between them. Sharks wouldn't win that way, 'Sharks - Shark Bait' would.

Or, make it impossible to have contracts outside of one's comp, and raise the number of players in a comp to 20.

no, it would be the AVERAGE of all the worth players, plus all the feeders/cig makers, to make it a true representation.

The way it is now it's like having a football team with 2-3 times the number of players than their opposition - an obvious inequality.

Edit: More like a company that doesn't declare a loss-making division to the shareholders or leaves the production costs off their spreadsheet - only reports on the profitable division, clearly not accurate or fair

I understand what you're saying but like the person above said. You just wouldn't put the cigg players in the same comp. They would still drop and then each player would be in their own "comp" whoever scored the best would win.

For those of you who can't get anything but Sharks off your mind, you would love it. They would get all 3 medals :hehe:

The bottom line is until the CM is based on something other than ciggs, or the rest of the people get a real comp together, the Sharks are going to keep winning. And before you start whining more, my company was the most loosly run team I can imagine and we still beat most of you without any sort of cig team at all. Maybe you just need to step your game up ;)
