Im not moaning about losing because my team was inactive, im moaning because there was like 2 players active for the course of this round, after 150. Which leads to another shite round. :@

2 teams bust. Says it all really.

Any suggestions on what could and should be done to improve this game? even when i started there would be typically 5 countries busting, used to be fantastic! now its beyond a joke.

Rit/Jacx what you gonna do to regenerate would should be the jewell in the crown of GC!?!?

seriously... anybody with some suggestions to increase activity? :hidey:

there are 2 things that will help fix that problem. 1) make is so more non premies can join and 2) shorten the bust cycle. i mean for an "express" game everyone sits and builds for 150 1 min cycles thats 2.5 hours. Some people will forget they joined. Some will have something come up and have to leave. Some just build and go to school or work in hopes of landing on the winning team to get some vps.To fix the problem of people joining just in hopes of getting vps they need to make it so if someone doesnt sign in and build or take land after cycle 150 then they get negative vps for that game whether the team they are on wins or loses.

but surely negative vps will put people off all together? i dont play extended purely because i cant guarantee i'll be active. you have a good point tho, about waiting 2 1/2 hours, maybe they should lower the 150 cut off to 100?

the only people that would get the negative vps are the ones that dont play. if they arent playing to begin witht then the game is better off without them

could end up with empty rounds tho... :( i dont mind poepl playing who dont be active, i just wish there were more people active
i.e. imo there needs to be more incentive for people to come and play and stay active...

the huge amount of vps you get for that game is the incentive for people to play thats why alot of people join build and dont bust so they can hopefully land on the winning team and get a share of the vps now there needs to be something to stop those people from joining just for the vps and being inactive

imo theres needs to be an incentive to stay active, rather than a penalty for being inactive... summits gotta be done tho!
whatever we say, you can guarantee they wont listen or change anything. :(

I'd say change it to 30 second cycles, then the game is much quicker, and your can play in less than 2 hours.

Since everybody busy doing things with theyself and unavailable to play, why not just have a set round of empires express at a set time every so often for the premium players, Place a vbookie on it. Let people choose the empire they want, set it up before the actual round started. I'd actually buy a premi in that scenario, play a decent round seldomnly.

12-17 players in each round and only 2 empires bust let alone play, It's understsandable that things come up, and unable to play the round through. But not no 85% of everyone that joined the round, my question to them is Why even join? You know you not playing, few non premi's do it, mess up somebody that would like to join chances of playing.

first off i can finally post i am so happy lol

Anyways back to the topic at hand, Express needs a shorter bust cycle alot can happen in 2 hours, 1 min cycles still are needed, but research time needs to be lowered also to match the decrease in busting time, further more there needs to be a way to play as non premi see i was premi in the past but thanks to a scam my credit is for the birds i cant get a credit card or bank account so i cant get premi and vicariously cant play most of the time, i am sure other players are in circumstances which prevent them from being premi also

Back when it was made there was a limit of each team being within 2 of each other like 2 people could join mongolians to start that also made it more interesting cause you could pick up a partner for the round

I would argue that a large part of it the ease at which Italy wins. A lot of people sign in and then when they see that they can't have Italy, they pick a random team and leave because they don't care anymore. Look at the most recent wins. Over half of them are Italy. Just a thought.

As this game has the potential to be such a money spinner, you'd of thought they'd give a toss about it! Yet theres still no correspondence from rit, jacx, admin. :(

its understandable when they dont respond to daft posts, but this aint one.
